Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

What did you do to your GMT today?

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

Man Moots. It's looking good! Braided brake lines, custom control arms, upgraded axle, Skyjacker springs, Fox shocks, panhard drop bracket, resonator delete, and recovery point. And that's just a quick glance!

Looks really good Moots. I hope I can get mine in before TECORE, but I'm betting against myself.

My brand new battery is dead as a door nail. Not good, looks like I've got another gremlin to track down.

Looks like it's leaning to the right.

Haha not yet, break in period sucks! haha

What a noticeable difference even driving at normal 30-35 MPH roads, the acceleration even only at 2K RPMS is a big difference. No struggle at all climbing hills, just cruises don't have to press on the throttle to climb and incline. Very happy with the 4.56's can't wait to really hit on it and see what its going to be like. Im a happy Moots :thumright: :D

Headers. It is a serious PITA job on these LS2 GMT360's. I started at noon and I'm still not done. (10 hrs of me and about 5 hrs of my buddy) I get to start on her again tomorrow around 9am. If the rest of the job goes a little better, I hope to start installing my sliders tomorrow.

The I6 sucks, I can only guess that the V8 is at least worse by a factor of 2.

Man, with so much room to work, I can't imagine what the problem is you're having. Is it your bolts or what? I had the headers on the GXP by myself in about 4 hours. Although I have air tools which makes life simpler, but I imagine you have waaaay more room to work with. Your first time though it is always slow. I've probably installed 50 sets of headers between myself and helping friends.

There is not much room to work. The instructions have us taking 2 cross members off, unbolting the engine and raising the engine 2". Along with other things the bolts are hard to get too. To complicate things my friend damaged threads for my front passenger side spark plug. Its hiding behind the strut tower making for a frustrating repair.
