Best way to Repair this....RUST(pic Heavy)

As far as rusting more in Michigan than elsewhere. It is because Michigan has extensive salt mines and therefore use Salt extensively on the roads which leads to rusting very quickly. My vehicles were always rusty in Michigan. Anyhow, I would definitely take it to a shop for repair.

shoot, since it all appears to be the lower end of the TB, you could use some herculiner etc and do a few inches of trim and not worry about matching paint.

Thats my plan. Everywhere I have rust except the back hatch handle is getting fixed with bed liner. New hood and grille I just got is just getting painted with bed liner.
