Krylon Fusion Paint

Hi all! Just a "lurker" here. Thanks for the boundless info you all have provided me over the years. The Krylon Fusion Matte Black worked out well. I painted the Black/Grey(or wutevr) on my bumpers, the cowl, the wiper arms, the door handles, the roof rack and the running boards. Looks much much better. Bumpers are a little too shiny in my opinion, everything looks good. Many people have asked if I got a new truck. Was thinking about doing the bumpers again with the PlastiDip stuff. Sorry before and after pics, but I could take some I guess.

Um, yeah, so you painted your truck and made it look spiffy, the paint works good, but you have no pics to show said spiffyness or the process you used or really anything at all... cool story bro.

Thanks to most of you for not being total DIKS! But here they are. You know how horrible they look before so all I can do is after pics. No sanding, just masked off and shot it on. A monkey coulda done it. Now lests see how long it lasts.

How much of a pita was it to do the cowl? Or is there nothing in behind those vents to worry about?

Looks nice. I like the Matte eggshell type finish. It did refresh the faded plastic very well.

Pa plates and inspection stickers. The emission sticker means you might be close to me. Where you from man?

Thanks guys! The cowl was simple, I took it off. Also removed the roof rack to spray them. The toughest part was masking the back bumper.

I've used that as well. The Bumper & Trim paint, it's easy to do. Makes all that faded black plastic look new.







Although I have very little black plastic now, mine's been done for a year and still looks fresh.

I never did the roof rails, but I've been thinking about it as they look worse and worse every year.

I've been using Mother's Back to Black, depending how often I clean it, I can almost get them to black. Might just paint them. Never thought of just removing the cowl

Sweet man. There is a few other members in Levittown. Keep your eye out for a Blue, a Red, and a Grey lifted trailblazers. You might have already seen them around.

I used the Fusion Satin. Have done most of my black pieces. Top parts, of my rear bumper could use a touch up. Side moldings still look great. Did them about a year and a half ago.
