Travis, you might want to add some of your updates to your build thread.

Sorry to bring this thread back, but I am very intrigued by the liner concept. I have been thinking about doing a Rhino Liner, or Line-X to my truck muck like yours, but I think I've heard prices upwards of 1K+. How is the quality and durability of this raptor stuff? Is it spray or roll on?

Thanks!

The DIY is either Spray on or Roll on. In Travis case it was spray one. I think He said it was less than $300 with everything he need. Sand for sand blasting, masking tape etc... I personally plan on doing this in hopes to prevent any more rust.

In which has anyone who has done this run into any rusting issues??

Thanks. I'm wondering the same as well. I wonder what type of surface prep for the non rusted areas is required. Bare metal application, and does the liner fade or does it bleed off the color in rain like some other DIY applications before this.

As long as you have good paint adhesion, you should be able to rough the surface and apply directly. When I Herculined, I just hit the fenders with 220 grit on a DA sander until I was through the clear.
