Has anyone replaced theirs with full pre-bent lengths? If so so kind of troubles lie in wait besides the jiffy-tite connectors which I already have the tight radius tool for? I have a 3" body lift and have no problems reaching the fittings on the transmission itself, just wasn't sure if I have to drop any cross members or anything.
I recall Joe fighting with those fittings when we did his engine swap. It seems he took apart all joints in the lines and then it wasn't so bad. The part we struggled with was getting it away from the exhaust and in the clips.
It's not how fast you go. It's how quick you get there. Lifted TBSS Build
I really have no reason too, but I've replaced mine on another GM vehicle with AN fittings and stainless steel braided lines, which are actually cheaper and more durable. Look fantastic too. I considered it on the Trailblazer for a why not factor. But then again, if it ain't broke....
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.
I have a pin hole leak and have my lines already at the house. Getting them out of the fittings isn't too bad since I've had them apart once up front. I can see where the exhaust manifold downpipe might be a problem and am hoping I don't have to remove it. Those bolts and nuts are rusted real bad they'll probably break. Guess I'll just have to see what happens as I go.
I have marks 3" body lift so this was fairly easy for me, nothing had to be moved out of the way. I bout this little gem, and boy did it save hours not having to screw with those little clips.
Don't try to take both lines out at once, go one at a time.
