Something not working right?

Did you smell the residue on the tripot to see if there's any sign of gear oil?

Also, did you repack your tripot with CV grease before you put your clamps on? Otherwise your joints are probably under lubricated and will fail soon. Also taking the shaft off to repack the tripot will allow you to make sure no dirt or grit got in you ripped boot, which would even further excelerate wear.

I smelled it... It smelled a tad like gear oil.
No I did not repack them. I didn't lose a bunch of grease for me to worry about the left side. I'd worry more about the passenge side cause I don't know when it had come lose and/or how long it has been lose.

If I were you, I would be worried about more then just the passenger CV. I'd be worried about the whole front drive.

Why?

From the second picture you posted, there are globs of CV grease on the subframe. Not a litte residue but globs of it! That is defiantly a sign of alarm for how bad the leak was. If you don't want to spend $50~ for a new shaft then spend the 5 dollars it costs for new CV grease. Otherwise I can guarentee your shaft will not live much longer. Plus you have know idea as to what kind of water or grit may have gotten into those loose boots. Quite frankly the way you are soliving the issue is only temporary and the lazy/easy way out.

As far as the front differential goes, you need to get on it quick! If the front diff gets damaged from running dry, it's a pain in the ass and an expensive item to replace. The seal is only $12 from the dealership and you have to remove the CV shaft to get to it (which is another great motivator to rebuild the shaft NOW before damage occurs).

It's your choice on what to do.

Spend $22 dollars now for a new seal and two tubs of grease for rebuilding the CV shafts, or possibly spend atleast $112 for two new shafts and a new seal. Hundreds of more dollars if your diff is toasted.

You have all the info you need here on this site and in the link I provided.

Can anyone tell me where the Seal(19257296) is Located? Behind the Tripot on the Diff or after the tripot where the Boot meats the Tripot?

have you checked your diff fluid to see if it is low?
At least check the fluid before you replace the seal, it could be all that "moisture" is from your CV grease getting slung around.

from the pics I would suspect the seal but at least check your fluid. If it is low then replace the seal. If it is still full then I would clean everything up and check it for a few days.

I changed it yesterday. Filled it up(took 1qt), it was dripping out when I put the fill plug back on. I checked it when I got home from work about 4-6hrs after I had changed it. It was below the fill hole and not driping out. Don't know if it had setaled or if there is a leak. I got a seal just gunna replace it along with new CV Shafts.

If you are replacing your CV's repack them and save them for spares.
