Zombiekiller puts on a lift

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

Aside from the jabs (which I'm sure you knew would precede you based upon your responses), there have been some serious questions raised in this thread.

I think everyone would love to see the turbo setup, and we'd also like to see the details of your spare tire mount.

What are your "offroad" goals? Remember this is offroadtb.com, not zombietb.com. I'd love to see the truck off road!

I, for one, agree!

Maybe Zombiekillers goal aren't that far off from our own offroad goals.

Check out: http://zombiehunters.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

This site focuses on the idea that if you're prepared for a zombie invasion, you'd be prepared for other disasters and such. The go into "bug out" vehicles, 4x4, Recovery equipment(bridge ladders, winches, etc)

First step towards zombietb.com

A decent BOV needs to be offroad worthy so it makes sense, but zombie truck and wheeling truck have some differences as well.

Ex....I would hang chains from fenders over tires to deflect bullets and debris instead of wanting flares if I was building a zombie truck. Research rufus if you want a cool story from a trucks pov in a disaster situation.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.

You guys seem pretty quick to condemn. The WORST way to get pix of a guys mods (like the spare tire mount) is to attack his every post. I'm just sayin'...

I was seriously considering a 'Zombie Apocalypse' ejection port cover for one of my AR's, just for fun! Checked out the Zombiehunters site, looks like in many ways the talk about Zombies is a PC way to discuss your SHTF plans. And I'm cool with that. 8^) People are funny, in some cases they think guns are SO offensive. But if it's got a 'Zombie' label of some kind, it's ok? As a guy I knew used to say "Fact is stranger than truth".

Finally, Zombiekillers truck looks cool; at least to Zombiekiller. My truck looks cool to me. Whether it looks cool to you is your issue, not mine. I thought a lot of his post was tongue in cheek, and pretty amusing. He's not asking how to install a temp/compass mirror without searching the site: I just don't see the problem. Well, except for the crap grammar part...

Large pic/pic from the rear?

Those attachments look a bit like what I was going after with mine, which is protecting the fender near the tire. What gauge tube did you use?

You should weld a connecting tube in between them for a little more rigidity. I imagine those probably flex a lot right now.

What's with the big holes in the only supporting tubes in the front?

I wasn't condeming ZK for his posts so much as his choice of orientation on the pics, but he seems to have corrected that either on his own or by some other means, so I say post away.

I used some tube from a truck bed carrier and cut the tubes and bend them to fit...

Can't see why i'm posting this but…

There is a thread you may want to search for regarding chain saws on the front/top/sides of someones truck. I think it's a Philberto thread. May give you some devious ideas! Good luck.
