I'm in for a set! Just got some z71's now I need something for the front. Seems like 87's are the best sure thing. Pretty soon I'll have something worth talking about.

You might want to find out the shipping fees, unsure how much that would add to the cost. Seems like the ebay vendor I bought my Z71 springs from charged like $35 shipping.

Don't forget about the 89s (they are still available right?). If they are too tall, or top out the suspension too much, you can always cut down the springs a little. It's not like the springs are ground flat or anything, so I'd imagine all you need is a grinder and cutoff wheel. Just a thought!

Ok, so I feel like a tool. The guy I spoke with 3 days ago said they had lots of 87's sitting in the warehouse. I just talked to a guy there 5 minutes ago and he said they don't have any...so someone doesn't know what there talking about. Its not looking good guys. Sorry about that. I will keep looking though. I've made a few calls to other shops and most of them have never seen our trucks lifted. Ill show them what our tb's are made of in the summer lol. Again sorry for getting you guys excited.

Word of warning, it appears 86 87 and 88 springs are all backordered nationally. :wallbash:

Is there a way to try and cross refernce our springs p/n with perhaps springs off another platform?

I think you could probably call a parts store and ask them? Im thinking of going to a wrecking yard to try out some parts from other platforms. We need someone else like Markmc to build us 87 springs lol.

Your setup costs will be limiting unless you're doing a batch order. Something ORTB wants to look into - if we ever get enough donations!

If anybody's interested, ACDelco Parts 45H0379 (square end according to tech line), 45H0380, 81, and 82 (tapered spring end) offer 375 lbs spring rate, between 85 and 86. Useful for those who won't be getting a front bumper, and available at $83 per set on Amazon with free shipping and no tax.

Haha, Mike dropped me a line to get your number, even though I didn't even have it, so I knew that was coming. You're likely going to be sagging badly, so I'd recommend at least the ACDelco springs. With Prime, you can get them in 2 days for free shipping!
