Aftermarket struts for lift!!??

Mine are breaking at the end of the threads, after the curved part imparts an off-axis force that starts bending the threaded section. The threaded part bends as much as it can until the inner tie rod binds up in its socket, then the force takes out the weakest part. Have you lost the inner tie rod end as well? I did both times.

Once I got home I discovered that I had lost the inner. I also noticed that my passenger side inner tie rod is bent to hell as well... and THE ALIGNMENT SHOP ALIGNED IT ANYWAY! :shoot:

My outer broke the same way as yours.
