About a year ago when the truck was still my dad's I put a set of the Monroe Quick Struts on the front when it hit around 100k. I had been noise diving during braking and wallowed pretty bad in the corners. The Monroes fixed that but, it also left the front end sitting about an inch lower. He was ok with it since it drove better to I let it go.

I don't have a pic with the Monroes on but, imagine an inch lower than this.

When I got it from him I knew I was going to need to address the issue. So, last Saturday I ordered Mark MC's 3" kit. It got here this Friday but, that's only because of the holiday. I glad my dad's a pack rat because be still had the factory springs and struts in the garage. I ended up using the Monroe struts but, junked their spring and put the factory springs back on. Whole thing start to finish took about 4 1/2 hours not including the trip to and from AZ for the spring compressor.

Looks good! Hope you got a good deal on the tires, I'm running the same ones, if I had known about them at the time though I would have picked up some treadwright's

If free is good then I think I did alright on them. They are take-offs from a customer's Tacoma. Got all 4 plus a brand new spare. I like the looks and the price of the Treadwrights but, they're not a brand I carry.
