Got these rims awhile back and picked up these KM1s to play with earlier this week. Want to see if 35s are actually wheelable. Old School setup with the revolver rims and white letters out due to wear pattern.

Redneck tire shop...heat beads and use two screwdrivers to make it happen..

O yeah...Guy that I got tires from is buds with the owner of Hi-Lift. He sold the tires to build a buggy, well get parts for it. Tires are siped some which helps due to being lower tread.

Crappy pics, but got them on in the snow and 12 degree wind chill. Had some rear fitment issues that I need to re-examine when warmer out. One thing I did discover is that the extra thickness of aluminum vs steel could change the needed backspacing. Overall I like the size and the fit seems good. Mall crawled over some landscaping between parking lots when going to get a pizza and at full lock and decent flex no rubbing was found...

will get better pics...

Plan to. They should work out as far as I can tell now. I need to balance them at some point but up to 40 they were fine. Truck feels huge and my buddy with 35 km2 on his JK kept telling me it looked cocky. I did noticed the tread is almost an inch narrower than my pro comps. The bfg setup is actually a good 10 or 15 lbs lighter each as well.

Put some balancing beads in them.

Your truck looks like a stomper now!

I ran those exact tires on my K5. Good to see I could put them on the TB now if I wanted.

Turned and stuffed up will be the issue. I can get some pics of where my rubbing occured. Many variables though. These being skinnier and on a narroer rim with less backspacing might let them work without hitting or they may hit harder and bind. I got to where the other didn't rub at all and I think if the tires rub they don't fit so this may or may not work out. But if I don't try I may never know...

I am liking the rims but don't like the look without centers. Looks a bit ghetto. I always liked the stock version of them wranglers had. Found these off a yota.

I think this about the tenth set of tires I have tried. I still have my other set of rims and tires plus a couple other sets of rims that all could be used. Hoping to figure what I really want and sell the rest to finance it.

Like the second or third time Kyle drove through the plant to get to the welding shop, after work, the facility manager had forgotten that we were working after work... Picture this in an British accent: "I'm walking through the shop, and I look up to see this huge white thing with f_cking tractor tires on it, rolling down the aisle"

I LOL'd...

Those things look great Kyle. I'm amazed the 35s fit and don't really rub. I think we underestimate how difficult small backspacing + wide tires can make fitment. These tires seem to fit your truck better anyways (IMHO).

You'll get used to the non-bling look. :raspberry:

I think they fit well too so far. Bling is not the issue for me. It just think of black wheels as ghetto and prefer bling to ghetto. I actually would like to color match these if anything. The clear is cracked and a little peeled but not enough issue to really mess with. I got a lead on a guy that will powdercoat wheels for 25 a piece so I need to look into that.

Being a skinnier tire they do change the look considerably.

Makes for an old school vibe. I had similar rims and bfg mt with white letters out 15 years ago on my first lifted blazer. I loved those tires...plus had some damn good times in that truck.
