Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Been looking at Kanati Mud Hogs any good?

Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

I saw these and they look pretty aggressive and they won't break the bank. Are they any good on the street? Or just a mudding tire. I am really trying to get the best bang for my buck and have something that really looks good. I would take any suggestions also.

google is your friend.....
I did a quick search and found this

the complaint was for an F250 diesel, I imagine it is a good bit heavier vehicle and I would not likely make a purchase decision off of one bad review.

I would do a lot of googling and see.

Did google it and the only poor review was that ford one. There was ever a 3/4 ton chevy that like tem. They said they were really good in snow which is a bonus living in Syracuse getting hammered with snow all the time.

Cooper Discoverer STT TEK3, I have nothing but good things to say after 1,000 miles.

I got mine here, best price on the net.

Just looking at your pics and is your rear wheel not centered. Just asking because I thought I read that adjustable rear control arms can fix that. Is this true?

Yeah adjustable control arms are able to push the axle back.

Yes the control arms will fix that issue, these are only 32" tires and I don't rub at full flex with the sway bar connected. I haven't justified the cost of the control arms just yet, trail armor is on the list before anything cosmetic. If you run 35" tires then you'll need those control arms to center the wheels. I only have 3.42 gears, 32" is max for my comfort level since I also pull a 21' 3500lb ski boat. Gearing upgrades may be down the road when I buy a second vehicle, this is still my DD.

Did you have to run wheel spacers with your set up. If so what size?

Yes I had to run spacers. I bought marks 1.5" 6x5 -> 6x5.5

My rims are the full size Chevy truck lug pattern. My wheels stick out roughly 2"
