I need some help justifying something, I have the crappy 3.42 gears and with the 32's my tb is a dog. My plan is to get the 8.6" rear end with the g80 (might as well go bigger if I'm swapping anyways) and if I can find one with the 4.10 gears I will rip the front diff out as well. If not though, would I be wasting my time pulling a rear end and front diff with 3.73's?
While I'm there I also need to grab a gauge cluster since my speedo stopped working and the stepper motor replacement was a failure. Possibly look into the envoy cluster or just snag some of the clear needles out of one
I'll probably grab a set of z71 springs since I'm now obsessed with getting my tb taller.
Any other suggestions on "spare parts" or things I should look for?
Plus just getting out of Maine for a few days will be nice, haven't had a "get away" type of vacation in awhile.
