It has been a long time goal of mine to have a rig that is capable of going on something like the Ultimate Adventure.

I may have a shot this year. I got the call last year to be in the top 12, but, I had already sold my Toyota and had actually bought the TB on the day I got the invite.

They call and talk to 12 people, the dirty dozen, to see who can actually can take 2 weeks off work, be able to afford the trip, and most of all, complete the trip without whining. After that 6 are selected to go.

I have no idea on the location, route, or any specifics, although some rumors are surfacing.

Keep and eye on http://www.4WOR.com for updates and to see if I'm in the top 12...

I would love to be in the final 6, so time will tell. But, after looking at the UA F150 from 2011, I'm convinced the TB will never be the same.

The fact that you have a TB and there are only a handful SAS TB in the world should be reason enough!

Nicely done Steve! Your uniqueness should get you in. I hope!

If you do get in - would you wear an OffroadTB.com decal?

The only stickers I can run for the event are magazine and spondor stickers. That's why I haven't put anything on the rig yet.

if we all chipped in a donation for gas and James sent it to Steve would that qualify for a sponsorship?

Unfortunately, the sponsors are the ones who pay money to the magazine for advertising.

If you read the article about applying for UA, you can see where they require the vehicle to be stripped of all decals and logos that are not supplied by the magazine.

Ill talk to Rick and see if I can swing it anyway.

I didn't think of all the red tape regarding decals. Oh well! Let me know if you want one.
