275/65R18, Will they fit?

Need new shoes? This is the place to discuss.

Hi guys, im new to this forum. I have done my searching and haven't been able to come up with an answer to what im looking for. I have a 2003 TB EXT. I just ordered MarkMC's 3" suspension lift. Im looking to buy Vision Warrior 18x8.5 +25 offset (http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direc ... =18&rw=8.5) with 275/65R18 tires (they measure 32"x11"). I will have 1.5" spacers as well. Will i have any problems fitting these? Im wanting to go 18's due to 17" wheels looking so small on the EXT.

The wheels you have linked to are spec'ed as 6 x 139.70 bolt pattern, which is not a direct fit to our hubs, so you would need an adapter/spacer to convert our 6 x 127 to 6 x 139.7, not just a spacer, unless the wheels are also available in 6 x 127.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention I'd be getting the 6x5 - 6x5.5 1.5" spacers/adapters not just the regular spacers. I'm sure the tire "should" fit as a 32 is a 32 no matter what rim size, I guess problem is whether the 11" tire width would be fine on a 32 would clear everything.

Gonna be a case by case basis. Each truck is different. I had to cut with 265-75-16(32s) and others ran them without cutting at all. You getting a positive offset, may help tuck them in without as much rubbing though. Plus we do not know what springs you have so it could make a difference.

18s may look better to you, but the offroad portion of this site says you get more function with more sidewall when in the dirt/rocks/trails. Old kinda rule of thumb is to try and keep your rim diameter to half or less of your tire diameter.

I'm going to be running the stock springs front and back. 17's could still be an option, not really sure if i should go with 255/75r17 or 265/70r17 if i went that route. Where i live there isn't too much hard offroading (atleast to my knowledge), mainly light trails and whatnot no big rocks. Id like to goto a 33" but i have 3.42 gears so that'd probably be a nono, and id most likely need a body lift on top of my suspension lift?

You can run 33s with the suspension lift, just have to trim more, but you'll most likely want to regear. I'm going to run 33s with a 3" suspension lift but I'm going to regear to 4.10s instead of 3.42 because the 3.42 struggles with my stock 30" tire haha

Hmm now your putting ideas into my head, im thinking instead of the 18's possibly 285/70r17's on +25 offset rims with just the suspension lift. I dont do alot of highway driving, i have read that i should be okay with 3.42's and 33s wit ha tranny cooler? I know ill lose some power but not much of a concern. a tune and possible regear down the road can take care of that.

I just know I want a transmission cooler and to regear so I still have some power. You can ask anyone questions, they are all here to help and have been a tremendous help for me. Good luck!

Thanks guy for all your input!!! Final decision is 285/70R17 Fierce Attitude MT on 17x8.5/+25 rims. I'll post up some pics whenever I get this done. Hoping within a month or so.
