Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Trailblazer/Envoy Lift "Quick Reference" Guide

BDS, ReadyLift, Smaxx... You name it, we know about it here.

by 419TrailWisperer » Sun Sep 21, 2014 12:31 am

After searching this forum for years, I think I've come up with a topic for Newcomers and Visitors regarding suspension lifts. Shocks, Springs, Spacers, Kits, and one element I think is very important... Pictures. I'm sure a good amount of people come to this Forum, from Google, looking for a quick guide or Kit for Trailblazers, Envoys, and other GMT 360/370. Most of them pop in and out, never to be seen again. Others join up just to ask one question, and most of the time are told to use Search, then never come back. So after a few nights of sifting through the Bullpoo. I think I've come up with a easy way to see Suspension Parts, what works together, and reference of what it might look like. Hope this works as a quick guide for New Members and "Just Passerbys". Lets start off the guide with the truck I have been drooling over for years :salut:

JUST REMEMBER THIS IS SUSPENSION LIFT COMPONENTS ONLY! NO TIRE SIZE OR ARMOR! THIS IS ONLY A QUICK GUIDE!

I think this is something we can build on, just keep to the template i have set in place. Name, Year, Front suspension, Rear suspension, link to the build guide, and Picture that most resembles suspension parts listed. Short, Sweet, and to the point Suspension guide. I will keep adding, if this is something you guys think is worth the time.

That's a very early setup of mine, but I like the idea of the thread. If it catches on, I would like to sticky it.

Just posted mine in the pictures, has only Mark's, the liftmeister, 3" kit and flipped arms. Stock rear springs, stock front springs (happen to be 87's.) I will say that it appears to be perfectly level, though I want a bit more lift in the rear and will likely be upgrading to z71 springs to help with that.

2006, has only 1.5" wheel spacers in addition to the lift.

James if you can send me a link or a pic of your current setup(hopefully something on flat ground and from the side to show off ride height), :poke: Ill add your RADFLO setup to the mix. Also are you still running the 5500s out back or did you grab some new shocks? Once I get another good variety of suspension parts and Pictures to match, I will add you Rick. I'm going to try to get one of every combo of suspension parts, so anyone please PM me with you specs!

I don't think I have a great picture with the radflos. I'll have to try to get something decent and post it up for you.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
