Anyone planning on a spring TECORE? The reason I ask is, I know some people need upwards of a month's notice and we're more than halfway through January. That, and; Rory usually starts the planning thread like 3 days after we get back from the last one.

Anyone?

Me and Jason were literally just talking about this, and then I pulled out my phone and saw this.

I was hoping we could decide on a last week in April or first week in May date for the trip.

As I've said over the last couple years, I'll more than likely be there. It'd be real nice to revisit the german river area and explore farther.

Depending on some other things that haven't fully materialized yet, this year I may have to come late on Friday again. Not sure if I can take an extra day off of work this year. But we should have enough people that are going that remember the layout of the mountain that someone else can lead that day.

Yeah, I've got the tracks from the last couple years to follow, and the TOPO USA and tablet...

Was is the level of lift & tire combo in this new area? I am pretty sure I will be totally lifted by then. Any stream crossing? Relocated my rear diff breather tube but need to add some length to it and do the others damn winter. Haha. Or we doing pretty much the same area as Tecore 9?

Probably this time. Hopefully I'll have my axle swap done by then. And probably alone this year :(

Im hoping to be done with my swap as well, but I will be open for most of the spring and really don't have a preference. Just need the heads up a couple weeks before for work.

George Washington National Forrest in Virginia. The town that we meet in is Harrisonburg Va. You'll find trip reports from at least the past 5 TECORE's in this forum.

In case you haven't seen.
