If you're not using your DIC to tell you fuel consumed, wait until your next fill up to report your fuel consumption. There's a lot of variability in the gas gauge. You may have consumed 3 or maybe 7 gallons at that point. When refilling your tank, use the same pump as last time, and fill only until it clicks off... do not fill further, and you should get a fairly accurate consumption measurement.

Oh wait, you're in the land of Nazi gas stations, right? Well, at least tell the attendant not to fill past the click.

I dont have a DIC. All i have is my odo and trip meter. I filled up reg fuel and reset the trip as soon as my truck started back up. Trip today hit 100.x miles at exactly half-tank.

We dont pump our gas, we pump our fists :excited:

My exhaust doesnt smell rich nor lean. Iv actually been complimented on the smell of my exhaust, it almost has a sweet smell too it

Our gas gauges are not even close to acurate. You need to do some actual numbers or you are just guessing.
I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but
they've always worked for me.
