Wheel studs and lug nuts came in. The knurl is pretty much spot on... I think these are actually .001 larger but they fit. Problem is they are SHORT! Almost scary short. The next size up with the knurl size I need is 3" long, they'd stick out passed the wheel face.
My concern is the following:
Studs measure 1.313" long. The lug nuts are 1" long (25mm fully threaded). With the H3 wheels in place, the studs only engage 12mm of the nuts. The studs are 7/16"-20 thread, that is 11.11~mm wide. I've got .89~mm more thread engagement then stud diameter, across 6 lugs per side. Is this sufficient? I'm a little concerned with how little engagement I have, but I'm no engineer who will be able to determine if I'm in a safe zone.
EDIT: The original studs were the same length, but the replacement lug nuts are much longer, over twice as long. With the original stud/nut, I had full engagement, so essentially I was getting as much thread engagement as this. BUT I never ran the axle with this setup, the original steel wheels where much thinner at the lug nut holes.
