Yeah, there's not a really easy way to mount the hi-lift (at least without it sticking up over the top of the vehicle) with the split design, so that was something we talked about before. He likes having it on the side of his roof rack, so we went with the split design.

Like your front bumper we add stiffer springs to accommodate the weight, so the same applys in the Rear with this bumper?

Most already have the Z71 springs, so with those, no problem... With stock springs... eh... The nice thing about the rears is that you can just add a taller block to get the ~1/4"-1/2" of ride height back...

Thanks, but metal is easy! Took too much off? Weld it back on... Don't like the way something's working out? Plasma-cut it off... Drilled a hole in the wrong place? Weld it back up and drill another one...
I hate, however, working with wood... Have to have a full plan (with measurements) before you cut anything, and you only get 1 shot...
