Hi folks, while building the tire chart I realized with some input from others that other information might be useful to put in a chart form as well. I took a stab at another chart, let me know if you think it is useful, if the layout needs tweaking and any input you might have. I figure I should post, get some input and make revisions to a few builds instead of building a full chart and needing to go back to make the updates. Let me know what you think.

that should be the first thing you do every Monday morning is update your build thread for what you have done this week. :poke:
I can't talk, I've installed Z71 springs but haven't taken any new pictures or updated mine either. I have a top spacer from Mark I need to install also, gonna do it all at one time. I might just wait until I get some rear shocks and install my rear spacer at the same time.

Nice, too bad we can't make it sortable. What order is this in?

Might be good to make it in A-Z order of user name?

Since tire sizes is covered on another table, maybe that doesn't need such prominence on this thread?

Just some thoughts... take em or leave em.

yeah, I wasn't sure what order to put it in. I started going by tire size like the other chart. I thought about location, it might help folks find others near them but not everyone has location in their profile. Name might be a good order too. Sorting is the easy part though :-).

We can make it a public google docs spreadsheet. Then it's possible to sort it in any manner

can I link the google docs spreadsheet here where it will look nice or would you have to click a link to go out and view it?
I did put it on google docs yesterday so I can work on the spreadsheet from different locations.

Looks like you'd have to publish the doc, then I could probably make an Iframe tag for you to use and embed the spreadsheet?

JD, would that be a pain for you?
I could also post one version with a link to the google version if folks wanted to sort it.
I need to get the lift chart on Google Docs too so I can update it from various places as well.

yeah, let me finish it first :-).
Sometimes at work I run programs that take a little while to execute and I have a little down time.
It hasn't been that way lately so I've mostly been able to work on it a little at night.

would you leave the external, internal and electrical mods section as they are or would you have columns with Y/N check boxes for things like roof racks, lights, bumpers, skids etc?

If the chart is stationary, I think it's fine the way it is. But if it's sortable, then the checked columns may be handy for people looking for ideas in a certain category.

What about modifying the profile information to include these points. If we did that does the forum have a good query engine for pulling out this info?

That's a very good question. Depends if James needs the headache though. Good idea.

I'm afraid if we added all of this to the "Members" page, it would be too much.

But, something I can look into after my big trip.
