It really depends on what others come out with... I'm a little less excited about the rear bumper, given that I'd be replacing the stock "hitch"... I'd do one for/with Kyle or somebody, but I'd have to see how it shook out before doing "production" with one... I really don't like the thought of somebody towing a travel trailer or car trailer with "my" rear bumper/hitch, though... I'm certain it would be strong enough, but it just makes me nervous...

Mike, you could always design it around the stock hitch since so many of us already have it. Don't know how much more involved that would be, having not even removed my own stock bumper yet.

Thanks. The hitch is actually a part of the bumper... It's not separate like the trucks are...

I hate to advocate weird chemicals, alcohol, violence or insanity to anyone...but

I'd think building around the hitch could be quite effective, and would allow for a sturdy cover with minor customer modification. Excess of the original bumper could be cut off to save weight.

Even once i do the body lift i am going to try to see what i can do to keep the rear tow hitch as unmodified as possible. I dont want to loose that strength as a recovery point but also because i do tow and dont want that risk of something failing

Did a bit of the logging trails on my grandparents' property, to get some pics of the bumper + rad skid in the woods, after I finished processing my deer yesterday...

There's a small creek bed that's dry, that I "tested" the rad skid on at like 20mph, and smacked it what I like to call "laughably hard"... (Like where you turn and look at your buddy, and are both laughing really hard) Stopped and looked a bit later, and nothing was bent or tweaked or anything!

Mike,

I currently do not have a body lift... but I'm not totally ruling it out in the future. What would I have to do to the bumper if I did do a body lift? What if a body lift bumper is made for a non body lift TB? Just curious....

You could maybe have a new set of mouting brackets made to move the bumper you buy for a non body lift tb up. I believe this was what Roadie had to do on his truck after her got the 2" body lift.

Body lift bumper is flat too tall for stock.

It mounts like the stock one does, so it should work with the body lift brackets, though I don't know that I would pull on it very hard because of those brackets and such...

by the way, 2 more days if anybody wants in!

Body lift means cutting the bottom off the stocker and using 3 inch peices of anything to make it rise to the occasion. Your bumpers are far better.

But I can testify a 10,500 lb winch wont hurt one of your bumpers when you are stuck balls deep in muck or when the front end want to change places with the rear.
