Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Horsepower? How to get it?

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

So I have been poking around for a while and haven’t found to much in regards to horsepower increases. I did find a supercharger and a turbo (both way out of my price range).
So I was wondering what some of you guys have done to get a little more. Freer flowing exhaust perhaps or maybe a cold air intake? I know on some makes and models you can exchange things like throttle bodies to get more horsepower: is there stuff like that for the trailblazer?

General consensus is a CAI does not really improve power for our platform.

There is a header available, it does more for cracking manifold reduction as well as some improvements.

Full exhaust isn't a big improvement either.

Generally a PCM tune helps as well.

Not much in the way for Turbo or Superchargers either as they affect reliability and are expensive as a mod when other things improve off road performance more for less.

Note this is for the i6 models not so much the v8 models.

The reason you don't see a lot about HP increase is because it is not needed and just a waste of $$, you already have enough power to destroy anything in the driveline. Your money is better put into gears, suspension and armor.
