Happy to have found this site. Just picked up a Trailblazer to replace a 1999 Montero that replaced a 1987 Samurai. After about ten years of wheeling mostly rocks and relatively difficult trails, I've decided I'm ready to take it a little easier on my vehicles and do more of the overland - car camping style. Want to do some mild modifications to get my TB a little more trail worthy and then start exploring forest roads and some of the easier 4x4 trails. NW Arkansas and Colorado will be my most frequent destinations. :flex dirty:

Well I am still here lurking and soaking up all the knowledge on the site.

I would just like to thank all the old timers, :gimp:, who changed the shoes and saddles on their horses many times over to give us this wealth of knowledge!!! :excited:

Thanks :salut: to all the beta testers and support from the group.
I ordered and received 1.5" spacers then :mechanic: pummeled the inside of the front fenders into submission to fit 33" tires. :safari:
Seats are my next project and I'll need a creative way to mount a seatbelt harnesses.

I'm still here...

I took my truck out to the national park (Rocky Mountain) this weekend and got through on roads that passenger cars weren't able to access. We did some amazing photography. Follow me on @jasonbhillphoto on instagram.

I'm alive. Just busy with the military and now have a daily driver so the TB doesn't get much attention. :)

Hello, I joined the site because I have been having the off-roading itch for a bit and I wanted to do an off-road build on my TB. Just pulled out a G80 from another TB in a junkyard and I can't wait to get it installed that I can see what will look nice on my TB!

Alive and well. Just installed my 3" lift this weekend. Love it! Still have some ways to go to get it where I want. But thankful for a lot I learned on here at GMT

Hello!
I am not a spam bot but I am a Human Popsicle :-)
New owner, but been lurking on and off a couple months while I was looking at Trailblazers and other options... Glad I got the trailblazer.. belonged to a acquaintance of mine, under 100K miles
Bought it on a Friday the 13th, went to LKQ (junkyard) today and got a center cap replacement for my 16" wheel. While I was there I ran across a Tahoe Z71, and the cool part was someone had pulled the axle and left the springs just sitting there under the frame... I felt it was mandatory to get them since someone had done the hard work... 3.43 so wont go over 32" eventually... it's my daily driver

35 bucks for the pair. I am concerned though because I think thy were off a 2002. The posts say 2007 and up but I see conflicting info on the "web" and the spring heights seem within 0.1" of each other..... and a center cap to replace the missing one for five bucks.

Is there a sticky subject somewhere on aftermarket wheel manufacturers?
