Stacking two 1/4" spacers above front strut

Hi,

I was wondering if there's any practical difference between using a single 1/2" spacer above the front strut, or stacking two 1/4" spacers.

The reason I'm asking is that I have some 1/4" aluminum (6061 T6) left, and access to a laser cutter.
Btw, if anyone knows the dimensions for the strut top spacer or has a blueprint or cad file, that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm aware that 1/2" above the strut is the max. safe amount.

As long as they are solid and don't slip out, I see no reason a stack of 2 would be a problem. I don't have any design drawings, but the bolts are fairly visible under the hood for a quick measurement.

I agree with Craig. No functional difference.

You can measure the studs from the engine bay. Make sure your center hole is the same as the cutout in the body. The only difficulty you've got is in the OD of your puck. As I recall, one side has to have a bite out of it. Kinda like a D.
