Offroad Trailblazers and Envoys

Can someone give me some info on mirrors?

Trailblazer and Envoy related, but not off-road related...

Im hoping to swap out my stock LS side mirrors with the LT mirrors with the signals and heating. Id also like to swap my rearview with the temp/compass version.

Are these swaps possible without any extra wiring?

Thanks in advance!

Mirrors are a direct swap. You just turn on the rear window defroster for to turn the heater on for the mirror, and the blinker connection is already in your harness. And I don't know about the rear view mirror, but it might be plug and play too

The wire/plug for the rearview is probably laying on top of your headliner. Chevy did this with the Silverados of that era. I doubt they had a specific wiring harness that omitted it in the Trailblazer.

Typically there was just one wiring harness for vehicles and GM hooked things up as applicable for that order. You'll sometimes see different harnesses say when there was a manual trans option. But that's about it. GM has been doing this since at least the 90s

I can guarantee you that the wiring is not there. I added the temp/compass mirror, and had to wire it up. You have to also add the temp sensor to the front of the radiator support and run the wire for that

I know in the old days, wires were there for missing accessories. On these trucks though, literally every option you want to add includes running wiring and fuses. Pita
