2002 Trailblazer Electrical Issue No Start No Crank

Breaker 1-9, anybody got a copy? Any discussion or mods relating to electrons and wires go here.

Ok so I need help and I'm lost. Early this week I wanted to add a bigger mono amp and another 4 channel amp and I've done this numerous times. Do went to test it out no start warning lights come on. Turn key over dash lights go off an nothing. Ok I replaced ignition switch still nothing. So I pulled fuses checked starter relay and reset computer nothing. So I need HELPPPPP lol please. As of now when I put the key in the truck my windows radio and locks won't work plus it's a no crank no start. The blower motor comes on as do headlights interior lights and fuel pump The warning lights that come on are abs brake battery and service engine light.

Alot of those things you said are working don't require much power. You might have killed your battery. I remember when I put my amp in, I had almost the same exact syptoms. I blew a cell in the battery so there was just enough voltage to make some lowend power things work but the starter motor wouldn't make even the slightest noise.

Mason is correct, those symptoms seem awfully similar to when the battery in my trailblazer shit the bed.

I second mason. I had to replace my alternator and battery. I recommend you either get a nice deep cycle agm battery or a secondary battery to power just the amps. My set up is a 4 channel putting out 75w to each channel and my mono amp (which is currently dying) rated for 500w and I have zero problems with flickering and charging...

Tried that. I have a 800cca deep cycle battery and a 220 amp ho alternator replaced ignition switch and starter relay

How many watts rms does your mono amp and 4-channel amp put out?

when I was putting together my system crutchfield recommended that I get a battery with atleast 1000 cold cranking amps...

I'm not even sure if you make your battery die hard. At that point if you're running that much why you're better off adding a high output alternator in a second battery. Turns out on my friend was securing the capacitor down underneath the passenger side seat in the back. He screwed into a wiring harness.

I have a basic napa battery up front. My whole system runs off my secondary battery. That was just the recommended battery to use if I wanted the one battery upfront. My system isn't very power consuming at all... But yours sounds pretty power hungry if your sub amp puts out 2000 rms and your 4 channel puts out 100rms per channel... I think if you replaced the capacitor, which really doesn't do a lot for that big a system, with a secondary battery like mine, or really any agm battery will do, you would see a world of difference in how your system performs. Especially at idle. Just my opinion.

Honestly with The cat and I output alternator. At a 1000 RPM's I'm putting out about 14.2 volts and at idle about 13.5. I'm also planning to do the Big 3 upgrade within the next week or so.

Have you checked the Park/Neutral (NSBU) switch on the trans? Does P light up when in Park? Does it change when you are keyed on and shift through the ranges?

Thanks we got it fixed. Myneutral safety switch has been giving me issues since I had the tranny rebuilt. But it starts now. I do need to crawl under there and fix the switch eventually though.
