PANHARD BAR DROP BRACKETS!

Any special projects involving a decent amount of fab work (bumpers, sliders, roof racks, etc)

by ErikSS » Thu Mar 03, 2016 8:23 pm

I finally have production of the bracket under way. I took Mark’s design and added 1 bolt. The install will require drilling and cutting. I expect them to be available in about 6 weeks. They will be powder coated and come with grade 8 hardware. Is there interest in a group buy?

This is prototype bracket I have been testing. I got a bare bracket to test so I painted it with some rustoleum hammered black I had to keep the rust down. The finished product will be power coated black.

Great Cedd. If you don't mind, sign up on Facebook. It will be easier for me to keep track.
For those who don't own a 5/8" drill bit, I can supply those in the box for an additional $10.

You think that there is a need for the bracket with massive panhard bar installed?

I remember seeing that with the bracket, that people were off by like .25". So with that I would think that the added adjustability of the massive panhard bar would let you to center it completely. Hope this helps.

The brackets have been made and powder coated. They will ship from Indianapolis en-route to me in Chicago on Monday. So, I'm anticipating getting these out in about a week. They are still available at the group buy price for a limited time. Just a reminder, you will need a 5/8" drill bit for the install. For cutting metal. The only one I can find in a store is almost $20. I can include a drill bit in your boxes for an additional $10.
