Just joined the site and have gotten a ton of good info from it but I have just a couple things I'd love some opinions on before I commit to buying stuff. I'm trying to get 265/75/16 tires on my stock rims and am looking at the 2.5 lift from markmc. I really like the look of the BDS kit though, since it replaces the strut mount, so I was thinking maybe that kit with some new springs would put it high enough for the tires? I plan on replacing the shocks in the front and rear regardless, and it would not be a problem to replace the springs if I go that route.
Anyone have experience with fitting tires over 30" with the BDS kit? Of course this will be accompanied by 1.5 spacers.

With the lift and spacers they should fit fine on stock rims. You will likely need to trim or remove the fender liner. You may also have to manipulate one of the fender liner supports but you should not have to cut your fenders.

Are you referring to the 2" BDS kit or the 2.5" kit from markmc?

either. Marks also replaces the upper strut mount, it's just lighter weight and arguably stronger.
New shocks are a definite. New springs really depends on what you have and what you're going for.
