Ok, so I see that 30.5 is good to go with no mods and 31.5 is good to go with spacers and a 2" lift... I'm not ready to do a lift right now (too much on my plate) but I need new tires and 265/70-17 take-offs are stupid easy to get, plus I like the GMT900 Silverado/Tahoe/Suburban aluminum wheels a lot; can I stuff those on there with just the spacer/adapter and modified bumper as long as I keep it on pavement until I lift it? I don't care if I have to remove the bumper or roll the inner lips on the fenders for the last bit of clearance. What is the next contact point after the control arm?

Ok, I found somebody who addressed this, saying that the 265/70-17s installed only with spacers would likely only contact under significant compression or full-lock maneuvering; I am okay with that, but ended up scoring a set of barely-used 245/75-16 Cooper Discoverers for a decent deal and installing those :thumleft: Unfortunately, I don't get to run the wheels I wanted, but nobody had any takeoffs locally and I didn't want to drive way out of town on my spare (it was starting to show a bit of dry-rot), so I just went for it. By the time I wear these out to install what I wanted in the first place, I'll probably be about done with the Trailblazer anyway and ready to pick up an H3 Alpha or a used Raptor or Power Wagon

I've never run them in that size or even on this rig, but I had them on my Silverado and they performed flawlessly

I didn't see a 35x12.50x18, but that's what I have on my '04 TB EXT. Mark's 3" BL and 3" Suspension, Mark's adapters. Removed plastic side skirts, trimmed inside rear of front fender some and inside front of rear fender. Currently not using the front fascia. Getting a little rub on the frame at full steering lock. Haven't tried any major flexing yet.

That's good to know, they look great and seem to have good reviews

Be aware, Duratracs will be scary for about the first 1500-2000 miles. Such tall, soft, siped tread makes them very sketchy/flexy until they get worn down a bit.

265/65/18 BFG A/T KO2s (31.6") fit my 04 EXT with only a 2" R/C leveling kit. Stock 83 springs all around. No wheel spacers. No rubbing issues. No trimming needed.

I had no such issues with mine... They were 285/70-17s and nothing but a good experience

I would definitely get them again

Same here, no issues and these tires seem very smooth and responsive at high speeds (80-100)

Hi, I am new to this and trying to make sense of the tire chart. I have an 07 with a 2 inch spring spacers and 1.5 inch wheel spacers. what would a practical tire size be for some mild off roading with this set up? from what I can tell 265 70 17 should fit without any other mods. Also, do I need to flip the upper control arms?

Yes a 265/70/17 should fit just fine with the setup you have. Anything bigger may require cutting/trimming depending on how much offset you add vs your stock wheel (not counting the spacer). Flipping the UCA is always suggested with a lift due to the added stress on the upper ball joint, but not required. Sounds like you've been doing your homework :)

Just fitted 285/70 R17's to my TB. Maxx Stak 1.5" leveling kit, 3" body lift, slight massaging and trimming of inner fender with caster/camber plates pushed all the way forward.

Looks good! It appears, however, that your right rear bumper cover has been compromised in its structural integrity.
