I have weekends July & August. It would be nice to see everyone again.
Once lifted 03 Trailblazer on 35's, gave it up to travel the USA with my family.

I know, and Jamie has a +1 also. I was just referencing members of the forum. :poke:

Right now, its looking like I'll come for Friday night only. It was already a fairly bad weekend for me, so I was eager to postpone it, but I don't want to bail on you guys.

Who among you know the trails? Am I going to get to the top of the trail and find noone? haha.

Rory said he had maps and he's only been there 5 times, lol.

Robert has the trails in his topo/gps app.

I have flagpole knob saved in my gps, and it knows the trails. And I've been there 3 times. Should be able to recall.

Ok, I'd just recommend aiming for Meadow knob for a campsite the first night, not Flagpole.

I can help you guys get GPS coordinates for the second night.

I'm pretty sure I can find the Meadow from the knob. I think Robert was able to find both on google earth and mark them in his app/GPS.

Coordinates for the second night would be cool.

Does this look like the spot for meadow knob? It tracked with Firefox's tracks he posted last fall.

Yeah, the location labeled Meadow Knob on your map is infact Meadow Knob.

Robert, I sent you coordinates for 5 or 6 campsites for Saturday.

Good to know that my app looks like it is going to be useful. So do I get a honorary Offroad Guide rating after this week end. :raspberry:   JK I know the rules/requirements.

You can fight with Rory over who will get the credit for being the guide!

I don't care just I am being a smart ass, I don't qualify. I am sure I will have some challenges navigating some of the tougher areas since this will be my first time wheeling the TB. Shoot I'll be happy to move up to trail rated after the weekend is done along with my report. ;)

Onward and upward!

Looking forward to Friday. I will have to meet you guys on Meadow knob. I will likely be there around 8-9. I'll ride with you guys for the first part of Saturday, grab some video, then head home.

Lets meet up around 10am instead of 9, with this small of a group we won't need as much time to get to the first camp even if we take a few side trails. Meadow Knob sounds fine with me for the first night.

TBYODA - do you want the GPS tracks from last TECORE? I can get you the raw tracks in GPX or KML format if you like. (I believe that Google Earth can take both, but that it's native format is KML). If you want them, PM me your email address and I can email them to you.

As for the reschedule, I am definitely up for that, but I need to get a scheduled of the summer trips to Lake Anna area from my buddy before I can commit to any dates.

I guess since this one is still on, we should move the discussion for the next trip to a new thread.

Supposed to be just about perfect weather. Should stay below 70 all weekend, with nearly 0 chance of rain. Fairly low humidity.
