Thanks guys! ... And no problem, Kyle!

If the company lets me make them the same way we made these, and if there aren't extra bends or major design changes, I could do these for $275 (unpainted, no bolts, etc) + shipping... I'd have to find out what that textured black P/C costs as an adder...

In the next few weeks, we're going to put Kyle's bumper onto my wife's TB for a mock-up, and see what needs to be done, and how, to make it work for a non-body-lifted TB...

How heavy did the whole thing end up being? Cuz you're probably going to have to ship at least one over to Washington. :excited:

Mike, is there room to bring the center/wing bends in by maybe 3"? If you carry the grille profile down into the bumper at those bends it could clean up the look even more... that was one of the changes I made to the KMA bumper.

Yeah, they can come in almost exactly 3" (ETA: 1.5" each side)... We're at 40 to the bends right now, and could go down to 37 or so...

hang on there... Don't be comparing Neil's welding to mine... Neil is a professional fab guy / welder, and while my welds are always strong and fully penetrated, his are strong, fully penetrated, AND look perfect!

Thank You! I'm definately an adequate welder (passed the certification test in a welding class I took my senior year of college, but it didn't come with the "certification"), but mine just don't consistantly look as good as Neil's...

I bet your welds get better as you go along. I know mine do when I start a project they look okay but get better at the end. The bumper looks great on the TB.

The only thing I would like to see on this great bumper is a receiver.

That's really the deal... The place we get gas from is cheap, but not very consistant, and with any oxygen in the gas, that matters... Every time they switch to a new bottle, the setup changes...

I'm really not as bad as I am making out, but I'm not "do it every day" good like some guys are...

ETA: Yeah, a receiver is doable, but he isn't sure if he wants one right now... It's definately an option, though...

It's all about the love, Mike. You put the effort into your work. The pride shows through in your finished product. Regardless where you think you are in comparison to someone else, be proud of what you do. I would buy your product over a big time manufacturer any day of the week, but I would still prefer to make my own even if it didn't look as good.

OOOOO!!! I have a birthday coming up too! June 8th! This might be the next big purchase! Before the rear tire carrier! As long as it can snug up to the light and stuff it's gonna look perfect!
Lift, shocks, wheels and tires installed...need some armor now.
