Still have to put in bracing, and distressed metal. Finally got suspension rebuild parts together.

would be real nice if you could fix the orientation of the picture.
I just knocked the speakers off my desk trying to turn my laptop to get a good look at it :-)

Look like it kills approach angle and is pretty low, but the different factor is cool.

I think some of that is an effect of the angle the picture was taken from.

Oh yeah, the bottom tube is pretty low. Looks pretty cool, though!

The pic. was taken from inside the house probably eight feet above the truck. Bottom tube is on line with the round crossover tube between the frame rails. I live in the southeast where we deal with trees, and bushes not rocks etc.. The picture is also with no lift yet. Gonna put distressed metal between the two bottom two tubes to deflect limbs. Saving up for Mike's radiator skid. I

That bottom bar is every bit of 5" below the lights. Please post more pictures.

I hindsight I should have merged the bottom tube end up to the top tube. There would be more approach angle. The middle part will be fine. I have never wheeled so " I don't know". Like I said earlier, all we have are trees, and limbs so I should be fine. Sorry about the rotated pic.. I'm an idiot.

I commend you on your restraint, if I had basically been called a liar in my own thread, I would have been much more of a dick when I showed proof...

ummmm, from the bottom of the headlight to the bottom of the frame is a good 7-8" without a body lift. So saying the bottom tube is "every bit of 5" below the headlight" is fairly accurate. It's probably a fair bit more than 5". But that's just cause it doesn't sweep up towards the fenders at the end.

Doesn't really matter either way I don't suppose, it sounds like it'll do what it needs to do and it looks pretty alright!

It just seemed like some were downing on his work because it doesn't serve their purpose.

He clearly stated beforehand that the bottom tube was in line with the round crossbar in the frame, if that's more than five inches below the headlight then that in and of itself is a moot point.

Stop being so critical and let the guy enjoy his work.

I'm from an area where I'll probably never even test my approach angle, so why would I be worried about it?

Maybe I'm wrong here, if so then I apologize, but there's a reason there are only very few pics of my stuff up on this site...

It's the internet, no matter how whiz bang awesome and excessively engineered and built there's always someone that's gonna come along and go "that's garbage", or the classic "stop liking things I don't like!" This forum is particularly bad about it occasionally. But it kinda just is what it is. We can't necessarily make the internet nice! LOL
