Oil skid

Any special projects involving a decent amount of fab work (bumpers, sliders, roof racks, etc)

I chose the easier route of just rough cutting the shape to fit underneath and not trimming it up to look like the old plastic pos that was on there.

Once I mocked it up with cardboard I just cut it out and found some scrap to make the step down part

Welded up

I think I actually spent more time cutting than welding, but it literally took less than an hour. The worst part for me was the cardboard nonsense. Doing so works really well and can really help someone see what their minds eye saw, that been said I'm extremely inpatient. So, it's done and on the rig and works great, that been said, I should've welded the inside, I left it and now it's a rusty pos

Great work!
Don't worry about it not being perty.
A) We're all about function here
B) It's mounted on the bottom of the truck. Who's gonna see it

Not to mention it'll probably be scratched and dented before long anyways. LOL

Looks good to me!
