Tease!....

Once you get something more concrete (like a picture), go ahead and start a post in the vendor section... your rights should be set up correctly... if not, let one of us know.

Foosh, I hope these will be a huge help to you guys. Price wise we are still researching the best priced parts. I have everything in mind, just need to get it all together. Thanks for the interest, Neil.

as i am in the process of making a set of arms for my self. it would be really nice to see some kind of work that you guys have done to see which direction you are heading.

is it gona be more like the camburg designed stuff? or something totaly different that even manages the somehow remove or modify that wish bone thing that the lower half of the shocks mount to.

Has anyone taken a look at the process of entirely removing these buggers? Is there enough room to remove the bolts? I was looking in there, and there didn't look like much room. Keep in mind, at the factory, the suspension is fully assembled before the body is put in place.

I dunno, just a quick concern I had.

Yup, have had them out on my truck and Bill's. Of course, I was lazy and had someone replace mine :finger:

I don't see any easy way of getting around the lower yoke without a custom job. Just go SAS :slap: :poke: :finger:

hehehe

When installing new arms on a Tacoma this is a big issue, on the new truck you either have to cut the body a bit, bend the pintch welds, or lift the body off the frame slightly. I have installed quite a few Camburg, Total Chaos, Icon, Light Racing control arms, and have all of them on the shelf if any of ya have questions about how they do things on the Toyota applications...

I swapped mine in just over an hour for the pair at about 70K miles, with shot bushings. Very minor sheet metal bending to get one bolt out, even mentioned in the shop manual as a necessary step.
