Quite nice. Can you put the oil skid above the rad skid so if you slid over something it will not have the lip to catch on?

Good idea, I though it could be easier to change oil in that way. But you have a really good point.

Looks real good! I do like how the angles create strength without adding material.

Now I have a problem with the suspension. It's very heavy in front of my rig. Should I install 88 or 87. I read some bad comments about 89. I don't want to lift more than what I had before and I don't want to break something. But when I drive over a bump I heard some noises. What do you suggest to me?

Yea your going to compress the stock springs in few months. ask ErikSS before his radflo's.
I know Opeth Cody has some 88 for sale, see this post.

I was pretty happy with 87s and a winch and all. If I did GM springs again, I'd get 89s, and if they topped out, I'd cut them down a bit. Stiffer is def better for not bottoming out due to the momentum of your truck coming down off ledges.

I also ready the war stories on the 89s and didn't want to try them, especially since I don't have a winch. My 87s and HDs are in, so they get put on this weekend. The trip to TECORE will settle them a bit, lol.

I installed 88 some weeks ago and I'm really happy with them. On road and on trail they are better than expected. Now the heavy weight of the winch and the steel bumper aren't a problem. But now the rear of my rig seem too low. HAHA Z71 spring are my next planned modification.

Depending on how it sits, currently, you might want to wait on raising the rear to make it match. The new coil springs in the front will take a set over the next month or two, especially as you cycle them a lot, like down bumpy gravel roads.

I have followed your advise Mike and you were right. Now it sits perfect. The heavy weight on the front did his job.
