My tow behind trailer build has started...

The next step is to run lights and get it titled as a trailer. Then start scraping the graphics, patching a few holes in the fiberglass, and getting some paint on it.

Looks like a real good start. Where did you find it? I like the portal axle too. Only missing some shocks back there.

You might want to think about adding some of those RV sandwich windows. They are pretty easy to install, just cut out the template and sandwich the wall between the inside and outside frames.

What's the inside look like?

I am looking to do front and rear windows, and possibly a couple of skylights as well for air flow. I will get a picture of the inside, but it has about 5 feet of floor space, and a foot of shelf space on either side. This will be a quick build, I want to be ready by the 1st of June. Any suggestions of advice will be appreciated quickly.

James, I found the body on Craigslist. It came off a Ford 350. I wanted to run a TB rear axle, but the fabricator that built the sub frame was not comfortable building a control arm suspension so we went with a 5600lb axle that he cut down to fit. I was a bit concerned, but he nailed it. It pulls down the road perfectly!

You could get some this flexible 12V LED strip light to light up the inside it's very cheap and very bright. I am going to put some on the inside of the lift gate to light up the area behind the TB when up.

It is 1/4" wide has double sided tape on back (some reviews say it's no good, easily fixed with some foam tape) and can be cut to any size needed. However a minimum of three LEDs length to protect circuit. Easy to solder wire at the copper connection points. PM or txt me if your not it to electronics and soldering and we could workout something on some per made strips.

Pretty sure he has had LEDs down for several years. His truck has had LEDs in door handles n others areas in and around for years. He really has a lot more experience and knowledge than he lets on :poke:

Yup, like Kyle said, I have been playing with LED strips for a long time now.

My truck is on the left, the blue LEDs were inside the headlight assembly.

Robert, you are on the right track. I have been using those lights for a few years now. They are easy to cut to fit, and are great because they are RGB led's with a wireless remote control. I have two rolls and a the control box setting in the garage ready to go in when I start interior wiring. That is one of the final steps though. I want the trailer ready, and the kitchen and storage boxes set up first. I can sleep in it even if I don't get to the interior, but I want it functional.

John, yes the current plan is to pull this for the Moose expedition.
