So I'm waiting for the weekend to install my lift and while I am I'm throwing around ideas for my hitch mounted spare carrier.
The hitch mount will accommodate a curt spare tire carrier

I'm looking at a Curt dual 2" receiver that is stacked on top of each other. I like this cause I can still swap out a shackle mount or ball mount in the bottom receiver.

I plan on cutting down the receiver extension to bring it into the receiver as close to the bumper as possible and will also drill holes and pin it to make it swing down
Also I know many of you are gonna say just get a receiver extension and weld the tire mount to the top of it but 1: I don't have a welder 2: I don't wanna pay the money to have someone else weld it and 3: I would actually rather not have it welded that way if I want to change something I can just unbolt it or pull a pin and play with the design
