Home made Skid plate

Any special projects involving a decent amount of fab work (bumpers, sliders, roof racks, etc)

+1 on reinforcing the edges. I managed to tweak mine even with edge reinforcement.

My frame rails are so beat that I need to plate the bottoms so I don't destroy them any more. When I do I plan to use slightly oversized pieces and make mounting tabs for some additional plates to run frame rail to frame rail.
