LED trailer lights and cheap Blazer fogs from Walmart... Wasn't looking for superior lighting back there, just a little extra when backing up. I've never been too fond of the output of the factory reverse lights.

Also, if you want to hook your factory trailer hitch wiring up, they do sell a 4-hole screw mount 7-pin trailer connector that will mount through your bumper. I'm planning on the factory pattern being a standard hole pattern in mine, on the punched out production version, but the prototype will likely be the square pattern one that plugs into our connector:

Thanks Mike. I do plan on keeping the trailer wiring. I was planning on cutting out the factory hole pattern into my bumper... but the 4-hole screw mount is a good idea.

That's my thought as well, but you might want to try it in a scrap piece of metal before you cut it out of your bumper, because I just happened to think that the factory connector squeezes on the factory mount material thickness, and it's only like .060" or .074" thick... I'm not sure, now that I think about it, if the stock connector will even work with 3/16" or 1/4" thickness...

Valid point... I think the screw in connector might be the way to go. Or relocate the factory bracket to the new bumper... weld it inside so as to be "hidden".

Thanks... that is also one of the things remaining to be done. Even at the thickness they are currently, I'm very comfortable using them as recovery points. They are the actual bumper mounts.

I wouldn't be worried about pulling them from directly behind, but any pulls at an angle I can imagine them bending
