Trailer lift

Any special projects involving a decent amount of fab work (bumpers, sliders, roof racks, etc)

:finger: :finger:

Mainly wanted to show off Neil's work for those that may be interested in his products down the line. Him and his buddy Rick spent a good portion of the day working these up for my trailer. It's now sitting 2" higher and ready for some taller tread :friday: :excited:

The new setup includes longer bolts, upgraded bolt hardware strength (grade 8 ), new lower shock mount and of course the new blocks:
Image

Notice the extra sleeves on the bolts that really tie everything together. Also while you can't see it, there was a bit of work done to strength the center pin, too!

Look at all that room in the wheel well now:

Neil (and Rick)... Thanks again for all your work today :woot:

I wish I had a jeep at times (doh, did I say that out loud :finger: :finger: )

Added some spare rubber. I think the trailer is finally looking level with the truck. More trimming is required but still considering trying some 255/85 or the like.

:drool3:

I need a trailer now... :lurk:

The lift and tires really took it from normal to friggin cool! I guess because you don't need articulation on the trailer that you can get away with being pretty close to the fenders. All you're really needing clearance for is bumps.

Dang I'm jealous.

Yeah Rick and I got really crazy with those blocks and they are probably the strongest thing on the trailer until I get to the front. :viking: Yeah I am very pleased on how they came out and would love to do it again anytime. Thanks again Greg and I should see you soon. Thanks Neil.

Didn't anybody tell you to make sure your first glamping* expedition isn't with the Roadie?

You should have SEEN his vehicle, original icky tent, and camping supplies before he met me and got jealous. Now I'm the green one.

Only thing he hasn't upgraded to top-drawer stuff is his comfy campfire chair, which is getting more disreputable every trip.

If only I can get back to work soon so I can upgrade to some Snow Peak kit.
