So your thinking I should do it this way?

After reading that one, I would just line your fenders and spray foam onto it. Check out the other forum they dropped http://www.fiberglassforums.com/index.php

I would definitely do it like the first thread. Make a plug, then build the mold. You'll be able to build more in the future as yours break, and you have the potential make some money. And don't use styrofoam, the spray foam or the foam board have tighter cels to them and don't missform as easy. Styrofoam is basically a bunch of foam balls glued together, the foam board and spray foam is pure foam, if that makes sence. I'm sure someone remembers tearing styrofoam apart piece by piece as a kid..

Definitely thought the first thread was more the way to go. Hopefully this works. Might start next monday if I find a local place with everything I need.

Maybe you can even get to producing more and having some of us buy the finished product? Great idea though. Looking forward to see it progress.

That is a possibility. If I like the outcome and you guys do to it is highly possible I will sell them.

Not much to see yet, I'm only working on one, trying to see what method is easiest before I do all 4. But if you're up for the drive you're welcome to check it out when its done. Maybe we can finally get a SoFla meet

Well a quick test fit of the spacers tells me fenders are unnecessary at this point

255-70-16. When I can get my hands on a 3 inch body lift I will be going up to a MINIMUM of 33's, but the goal is 34-35. When I get the bigger tires is when I will experiment with the fenders.

Ill get pictures later but nowhere near as far as I expected. In fact the tops are still covered.

With that size tire on a stock wheel, that sounds about right. My 265/75/16's only stick out maybe 3/4-1". With spacers.

Ya and at this point fenders would just look goofy and not have a function. Therefore no point in doing them at the moment
