I asked Kyle what the turn around will be after the prototype and he said they are back up a tad but it should be three weeks with shipping.

Thats not a bad turn around time.....

From what I've read on-line, he gets a lot of business with time commitments that aren't met. Less repeat business. Just be careful and don't get unrealistic hopes was my message.

You have your vehicle back, right? You're just waiting on your bumper? Not a big deal...

jim i waited 12 weeks to make it from templates already made and then another week for paint and shipment, so i cant imagine how long they will take to get one done from scratch ... im would expect 4-6 months from them , ask mike to make you one lol but they are great quailty from KMA

Kyle delivered to me basically on time, and if I recall from the first Trailblazer guy that had it done, they run the prototypes through pretty fast.

If Kyle says 2 weeks, and you're working in person, I imagine it will be pretty close to that, if not exactly. Still, keep on him. I sent him an email every week checking the status.

They actually make their bumpers in less than a day, the reason they take weeks is due to their order queue. You can't make a profit if you have tons of idle workers and machines sitting around just waiting for an order to come in.

I don't think there is any reason to be nervous.

Yeah, so far he has been very prompt with returning emails and telephone calls. Plus he knows I have every other weekend off so only have that window open for picking it up.

James do u know anyone using LESs for fog or driving lights?

Never heard of LES. Do you mean LED? The LED technology is sweet, but very pricey for anything good.

:wallbash:
Week two without my ride and no bumper. I know those that live in glass houses should not throw stones and never bite the hand that feeds you but WTF.
I'll get pics up when I get my truck back. :shoot: :viking:

I don't think he minds how heavy the thing is... I think his issue was more regarding the time it is taking.

That sucks man, have you contacted them and gotten a status update? And you'd think since they actually have the truck there it would be done sooner, but I guess not. Def post pics once you get it back tho, can't wait to see what they come up with.

Yes, I have checked on status and due to a major storm that was coming in when I dropped it off, which is why I dropped and turned around and left, the steel for the bumper was delivered a week late. So it was unforeseen circumstances I just am impatient sometimes. :angry whip:

I just could be working on other projects if I had my ride here...... :flex dirty:
