Just joined after saving a trailblazer ext I’ve have been looking for quite some time. They aren’t very common around here. Hoping to learn a lot about my new project. I just bought a 2003 from the builder area of a local salvage yard in hopes to make it my new daily driver and camping rig. It was surprisingly super good shape except motor is seized. Got a line on a replacement 5.3 already and hope to have it ready for the inspections needed to get it back on the road within a month. Thanks Jay

Hi Jay. Welcome to the Site. Your 03 should make a great DD and camping rig once you've completed the engine swap. Bonus is you already have the 8.6" rear in place as well.

I recently 'rescued' an 06 from Copart. Was your '03 originally a 5.3?

Welcome! 5.3 is a great engine. Is your TB a short wheel base?
It's not how fast you go. It's how quick you get there. Lifted TBSS Build
