Welcome and merry christmas!
I started out in the scouts as a kid and thats probably where I grew to love the outdoors! Shit ton of knowledge on this forum. Not nearly as active as it used to be, but at minimum it's got a great archive of searchable problems/solutions.

As Bacon said, it's pretty quiet around here, but if you've done some research here and still have questions go ahead and post a question. There are still a few who look in from time to time that will take the time to answer.
