Sound clips of the glasspack? I'm kinda intrigued by the incredibly cheap cost of glasspacks, and want to know how bad the drone is on one of our vehicles.

did a bit of simple work the last week...including my exhaust...removed the resinator and the spare tire from under the back...spare tire is behind the seat for now. removed my front bumper guard and gunna trim the inner fenders tomorrow... next thing on the list is a lift!

plan: putting in marcmc's lift wish stock tires and shocks to begin with. in the following weeks i will put new shocks in (gunna look around a bit to see what i want) and then im going to put i the z71 springs. next year when my tires are worn out ill be putting new ones on unless i find something i cant pass up between now and then

so now its just time to save up money for everything-more overtime!

yet another question: due to the fact that our limiting factor is out ground clearance...and we have a sway bar under our rear axle...has anyone taken it off to see how it rides? if so how is it??? thatll give us another 2-3 inches of space under the pumpkin

i can tel you that having front rear disconnected is still drivable but creates some pretty good body roll. If you want to try it, just unhook your rear endlinks for a couple days and see.

My front is permanently uninstalled for more/smoother front end articulation... but I haven't unattached the rear yet.

My front is unhooked again and it really is not that noticable.

Start with the front and see how it feels. Im rockin out with no front, do that and get used to it before you do the rear. Thats my $.02

Welcome. Hell of a list you got there. And I'm loving the mud. Don't mind me, I lifted so high that I ended up lowered. :friday:

If you bash the rear on enough rocks, it will tuck up nicely exactly even with the differential. Won't hang down. Difficult to find just the right kind of ledge that will hit the bar and not put the driveshaft ujoint at risk, but somehow I managed to do it.

There are only two commercial body lifts - BDS 2" and MarkMc 3". Neither one of them needs new lines or wiring, just a steering extension, included with the kit. And some care making sure the brake lines are bent carefully.
