Hey, Ive been reading this site and facebook side for sometime now. Got a few ideas here and there. Great source for info and I thank you guys/girls for all that I have found.

I'm not hard core off road. But I do like getting in the mud once and a while. I volunteer for the rescue squad and spend a lot of time hauling atv and equipment trailers through the woods and decided it was time to beef the trailblazer up for spring.

Nothing extreme "yet".
2005 Trailblazer EXT
Stock engine/drive train. 4.2 I6 which is a beast of a motor, and a pain to fix when it does break.
Leveled the front and put stock size a/t tires on at the moment. Come next tire change its spacers and 265/70s afraid to go any bigger than that. Just happy to have the front off the ground so I'm not dragging anymore.

I do have four wheel drive but never payed much attention to about the g80 locker...don't know if I have that or not. Maybe someone can advise me where to look.

I look forward to chatting and meeting everyone.

Welcome! If you look in your passenger glove compartment, there is a sticker with a bunch of codes on it. If you see "G80" anywhere on that sticker, then you have the locker.

Welcome! While your in the glove box, look also for your gears ratio.
GU6=3.42, GT4=3.73 & GT5=4.10. Your a step a head with Ext and have a larger rear ring gear 8.6" so you have many after market locker options. If you don't have the G80 code which is not bad btw. A lunch box locker is good option.
