Hey everybody, I'm new to this forum, new to the platform and generally new to off roading. This forum is awesome and the builds are inspiring. I hope to be posting a build in the near future but for now I'm broke :(

Greetings and welcome.

Looks like you're off to the right direction if you've been reading. Up side, you can plan a lot before you buy a single item with this knowledge and save where others have had missteps.

I have been reading quite a bit. So far it seems like I'm looking at a lot of money to go the quality route with products from radflo, markmc and BDS. I was hoping to see some people making use of the cheaper parts like the lift from Rough Country. But this is a family rig so I'll have to have up for the tried and true.

TBext17, have a look at my build thread, for a mild, and reasonably cheap, build of an EXT that suits my needs. I no longer do hardcore off-road, had those toys 30 years ago, but I still like to cruise the logging/mining roads and trails, with reasonable ease, comfort, and reliability.

BC backroader, thanks for directing me to your build. That is basically what I'm shooting for for the first stage of my build (once I start it that is).

DirtyBacon04, I'm in Corvallis. Just west of I-5 before the coastal range. Think you are the closest member geographically speaking.

I just spent 5 days trying to trouble shoot a no start issue on the TB. Any guesses what it was?? The nefarious ignition switch of course. Lord, what a nightmare lol.
