Hello all, not a newb to offroad, but definitely to this platform. Not new to ifs, so im sure some tech info on replacing cvs and ball joints will be in my future, or the best method to cut it all out. My main rig is a sfa s10 blazer trailer queen.

I started out searching for a trailblazer, ended up with a 05 Envoy Denali. Probably a little nicer then my plan intended but it has a couple bugs and got a killer price, not too mention, headlight washers!!! Well see how they work out, haha. So i plan for this to be a daily, emergency 4x4 for the kids, and the quick run into the woods to get away.

Im going to go over there now and sit in the corner and start my research, hopefully not a lot of questions pop up that i cant find answers too.

Cheers
Skotti

Pretty sure we all started out saying we won't touch our trucks. Then you end up like HARDTRAILZ or Roadie. But nonetheless, welcome!!

Yeah... Sorry about that... (though you did have the pipe stinger welded to the stock reinforcement bar before you met me, anyway)

At least you gave it some functionality compared to that abomination of craigslist wonder

Well, there is that... and I'd say it looks a bit better, as well!

Welcome! I never realized the running boards were so integrated into the rockers on the Denali's! Sharp looking rig!

I never said i wasnt going to touch it. It will be the keeping it moderate, that i may struggle a bit. haha. I just dont know which way im going yet. Ive wheeled the blazer i have in every form, stock, ifs lift, sas- 2 variations. I really dont know if i want to go down the ifs path again. For the area im in, i really want to shoot for 33s, we also have a very strict tire coverage law in PA. Why the blazer became a trailer queen. The good thing is wife is cool, she already knows. She posted it to facebook calling it the new project...haha. Research it through winter, and see what happens come spring.
