Hello all... Been lurking for a few months and figured it's time to say Hi!! Been on the nation site for a little bit. 05 TBLS with Marks 3" and the usuals that go with it, thanks to all from here and the nation. As of now I'm keeping the tires 31 due to having the gu6 and no tranny cooler... I'm sure that will change.

I never heard of needing a tranny cooler for bigger tires but it does cause more strain on the driveline i can definately feel it, but if you are ever close to Boston, I can help with a tune to make it less of a slug pulling those 31's around.

Yes, with the I6, it's good to have a trans cooler if you tow at all, or if you wheel, or if you just have big tires. Any time the trans is out of lockup, the stock converter in the I6 makes a ton of heat, due to its lower capacity / higher stall speed than the V8 converters.
